Charleston Travel Agency: Shocked and Amazed

“I was shocked and amazed,” said Ricky Hayes. “I don’t know how they can do it.”

He’s referring to The Vacation Station. Hayes and his wife have been members for about two years and have taken “numerous overnight or two-night trips” to nearby destinations.

“We like to go to concerts, so we take a lot of overnight trips to places like Greensboro or Richmond,” he said.

Occasionally the two of them take longer trips. A special treat was a trip to Bermuda in May 2009 to celebrate an anniversary.

“I took my wife to Bermuda when we got married,” Hayes said. “And I told her I’d take her back in 15 years. So we did take advantage of [The Vacation Station’s] service and went to a bed and breakfast in Bermuda.”

The Hayes’ already have planned a trip to their next destination, Charleston, South Carolina.

“We’ve been to Charleston a few times and we love it. We’ve got some friends who want to see Charleston, so we’ll bring them and show them the sights,” Hayes said. “My wife loves bed and breakfasts, so we always look for different ones to try.”

Hayes says that his wife, Miriam, makes the arrangements with The Vacation Station and that they have received excellent service from the staff. It’s a simple matter of sending in receipts and just a short time before they receive their rebate checks. They love traveling with friends, who are also amazed by the benefits of traveling The Vacation Station way.

“I’d like to try one of the ‘hot weeks’... I’m not sure what they are since my wife takes care of everything but I think they’re an even better deal,” Hayes laughed.

Hayes said that he would definitely recommend The Vacation Station to people who enjoy traveling regularly.

“I was skeptical,” he confides. “My wife talked me into it. She reminds me that it was her idea. And I would recommend it to friends.”
